Communcating with the Czech was gonna be a problem at first, i thought... but after a while, our communication improved (cakap dengan diorang, kene pakai simple english dah...) for instance, they use the word 'practice' instead of training. (dier tak tahu namer aku, so whenever they wanna speak with me, they would go off by saying 'So' then blablabla... kirekan nak grab my attention lah..) Their staff consist of their manager, 2 coaches, a head of delegations, and a physiotherapist( buncit giler... muke macam bulldog! hahaha...)
Experience in terms of floorball, i have seen their practices at NTU and at TSH. (Tak paya cakap lah eh, Gerek...!) Maybe we can do it for our practice sumtym. There's one interesting aspect of their training is dat every training, there's alwaes this player who wears a pink bib with the words 'trapka' on the back, which means lamer or loser. This trapka is the person who fills everybody's water bottles, collects all the balls and stuff... How this trapka is chosen, is thru a penalty game, where everyone takes a penalty. Those who score are safe, but those who cant score, have to try again. The last person who cant score is the Trapka.. (Next training kiter try ah... amacam? hahaha...)
Training in Czech Republic is very different compared to here, in Singapore.. I asked Tomas, their manager, how long do the clubs train in their country. I was surprised when he say around 1.5 - 2 hours Max. So i told him that in Singapore, trainings range from 3 - 4 hours, and now HE was surprised. Quality over Quantity... hahaha. Over there, their club have around 8 mens division and 7 girls division... (Mampos!! we're nothing compared.. pAThetic!) They even have a HWOLE stadium juz for floorball. Eh! WHOLE...
Thats because, over there, its a more developed sport. FYI, the Czech team won the ice hockey world cup... Whoa! hahaha... The Czechs play a 2-1-2 position. Seeing them practice their free hits, was lyk WOW!!! They dont just pass, and take shots... They make some dummy run, and then the two forwards would go behind, and the defenders would go infront, taking their place and wait for a pass, to shoot... ( cam gitu ah.. every player interchanging position...)
Cultural aspect of Czech people. They are generally friendly people. whenevr they see u, they would just smile, waiting to reply if you'd greet them. Made me feel a bit awkward... (kite ni orang singapura, maner ader cam gitu... tengok muke je, ingat nak cari pasal... hahaha betul tak katak? ) They even gave me their czech tee shirt and a necklace with beads, formed into a shape of a floorball stick. (jealous kepe??? wahahaha!!!! Takpe, nanti camp aku pakai tunjuk korang.... kwakwakwa!) I wonder if they're willing to sell their jerzy after WFC, hmm... (kalau dapat, fooh!!! takle angkat..)
As for me, life has been a SHIT! financially.... A lot of things happen when i dont have the money. and i'll only get my pay after that. Shit... to be continued.
